The NSSI project “National System for Award and Payment of Pensions” conquered the special prize in the section “Technological Solutions for Open Government”. The honored project comprises a centralized web-based institutional information system for data gathering, validation and storage of data for award and payment of pensions. It supports the institutional business processes at NSSI, as well as the monitoring, control and performance processes. The project is developed entirely by NSSI own resources. The added value is rising quality of services for the clients and delivering of e-services through different channels, i.e. digitally. The second winner in the same category is the local office of NSSI in Kardzhali. It’s project comprises electronic exchange with more than 20 other local public administrations in the region. This prize is awarded for the significant decrease of the administrative burden for insured persons and their employers.
The regular yearly event “Bulgarian-German consultation days” merited Special Certificate for Social Responsibility and Social Partnership.
